Hello!  We are the Webers!

We (Ben and Cherie) met in college, fell in love, and got married.  Over the last 10 years, we have added 7 children to our family ranging in age from 0 to 19.  It has been full of adventure and fun, and we have just started a new adventure: mini-farming!  Growing up, our families had gardens throughout the years and some animals here and there. We have been dabbling with some gardens over the years, but have not been very successful.  It doesn’t help that we have never lived in one place much longer than two years. Last year, God blessed us with a brick rancher on an acre of land.  Read more about that here. For the first time since we got married, we feel that we can finally put roots down (figuratively and literally!). Our dream is to create a mini-farm that will provide most of the food for our family.  Along with that we will be experimenting with ways to preserve and use the food that we grow and raise! This blog is about our journey to discovering how to do that while doing life with 7 kids and growing closer to God. We hope that you will join us on this journey and be inspired!
